The Egyptian Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Society (ECTAS) welcomes cardiac anesthesiologists from all over the world to visit our site. Here you can find information about ECTAS, including foundation, members, activities, and information on our Annual Conference on cardiac anesthesia.
You can check in frequently for news updates, discussion boards, and resources for cardiac anesthesia. Cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and cardiac intensivists are most welcome to visit our site and participate in our activities. As communication is the key to success in cardiac surgery, we hope that this site will be a gateway to the world of cardiac anesthesia in Egypt and the Middle East, and a bridge to the rest of the world.

The Egyptian Journal of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia (EJCTA), the official journal for ECTAS is now online. EJCTA is the first scientific journal in Egypt which is dedicated to the specialty of cardiothoracic anesthesia, and is primarily aimed at anesthesiologists who deal with patients undergoing cardiac or thoracic surgical procedures.
